Skypecast Tonight

If you’re interested in wikis in education, have a listen to the Skypecast being held tonight by Steve Hardgadon.
He’ll be talking with me and Vicki Davis of Westwood Schools, one of our most prolific, and most enthusiastic members. Steve and Vicki both have great enthusiasm and passion for what they do so I’m sure it [...]

Great conversations

NECC was a blast. It was inspiring to be around so many committed educators and a great learning experience for me. I had so many great conversations I wish I could share them all.
Paul Nelson recorded one conversation we had and has posted it over at K12OS.org.
I’ll try to post some more about my experiences [...]

NECC 2006

I’m down in San Diego for NECC 2006 and having a great time. Speaking to so many teachers, educators, and technologists about blogs and wikis in education opens my eyes to how much there is to do to bring the value of technology to classrooms.

While there I was corralled by Eddie Codel for a video profile.
Check it out.

If you’re in San Francisco next Tuesday night (11 Apr) come by NetSquared’s Net Tuesday where we’ll be talking about all the great things the Wikispaces community is doing.
NetSquared is about helping non-profits take advantage of technology so we’re really glad to be working to help them.
For those of you who can’t make it, we’ll [...]

Kojo

Kojo selected his guests well (Ben Bederson, Alex Halavais, and Kat Walsh, along with James) which resulted in a smart and sensible discussion of issues [...]
