Win a $500 Apple gift card by taking our survey

We’re currently conducting a survey with preK-12 teachers in the US to get a better understanding of their experiences with professional development, especially for re-licensing and salary advancement. We’d be grateful if you could take no more than 10-15 minutes to fill out our survey by Friday November 13, 2015. As a token of our appreciation, we’re giving away five $500 Apple store gift cards.

We’ll use the information in an aggregated, anonymous format for internal purposes only. At the end of the survey, provide your email address to be entered in a random drawing to receive one of five $500 Apple gift cards. Only respondents who work in US preK-12 education and have completed the survey in full by November 13, 2015 will be entered.

Wikispaces is a very helpful tool not just for posting homeworks & announcements online. Wikispaces is a way or bridge for the teacher and students to interact. I recommend this for the teachers & students (worldwide) to use this because this can be access easily through internet.

I use the wikispaces for an on-line commentary by my students. The only way they can get participation marks is by posting at least 8 times each term. I love doing this for two reasons; first, the students who are shy and son’t like to speak up in class have a way to be heard. Second, I am constantly amazed at the deep level of understanding on the part of the students. I can see that they deeply care about important issues. The wikispace blog gives them a place to engage in relevant discussions about our social and political life.

I am teaching elementary and kindergarten in Kentucky, US. And I don’t know this software before. Now I am working on it.

I have not used it before, but look forward to making it a part of my work. I am taking an online professional development class and this is a part of the assignment.

That’s great to hear! Just curious, what is the assignment? What online PD class is this part of?
