On Tuesday 18 December at 5pm Pacific, we’ll be participating in a Future of Education podcast with our good friend Steve Hargadon.
After reading our recent How to Succeed in Ed-Tech article, Steve suggested a conversation about education entrepreneurship with us and his brother Andrew who is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at UC Davis.
As with anything Steve does it should be thoughtful and energizing. We’re looking forward to it.
Please join us at 5pm US Pacific time on Tuesday 18 December at http://futureofed.info
Update: The recording is now available.

Why does there seem to be no current information on using Wikis for training? Wiki appears to be a wonderful option for offering hands on training. All of the research is several years old. Is there current information on using Wikis?
We are trying many tech enhancements at our international school in Tokyo. Sorry we missed the podcast. As librarian, I am helping 4th grade student produce their own iBooks Author book which is published on our own iTunes University channel (Christian Academy in Japan, Tokyo). I am also taking the students along with me in the publishing process of my own digital book and this has been very instructive. Here is a link to the book trailer which just came out yesterday:

The student reactions are priceless.
The big problem with the “scientific community” is that its academic Machiavellism is incompatible with the scientific method. Please check out Pure science Wiki. That is an Internet platform for the real scientific method.
