Greetings!

Hey there! I’m Carole, the newest member of the Wikispaces team. I’m a total word junky with a degree in Creative Writing and a background in marketing, copyediting/proofreading, and, once upon a time, bookselling. I’ll be working with the rest of the team to make Wikispaces even better, and to bring you the information you need in ways that are easy to understand and fun to read. At least that’s the plan. I am very excited to be here, and am looking forward to this adventure.

Great! I’ll probably need your help as I am also a word junky. If you get an opportunity, take a look at my wiki and let me know how to make it better.

I’m new to Wiki too and I feel like I have a lot to learn. I’m an elementary school guidance counselor in Havelock, N.C. My school is a year-round school so we are eagerly looking forward to a three week break we have coming in the middle of this month.

I think Wiki Spaces sounds like a great way to communicate and I’m looking forward to learning more about how to use it. Welcome to all of the other new Wiki Space users!!!

    Hey Carole,

I am more than happy to have support in learning how to use wiki for collaborations within the classroom setting and outside the classroom. I’ve learning such a great deal so far in the Learning 2.0 class and I can’t stop talking about it to the other teachers at school. I feel like we are sooooo far behind these kids with information gathering and internet usage for various reasons (each school district has their own story) but if we want to reach these kids of this generation and generations of the future we need to get on the cyber-bandwagon and fast!!!

welcome to you and to me…I just joined and am looking around at the “sections” of wiki spaces. How do I select a “favorite wikispace” from the blank space. When I click on an address that shows upon the drop down – a red x appears in the blank space – and no link! ? ?
