Join Us For Today’s Education Webinar

Join us today at 5pm PST for our December Education Webinar. We will run through how to set up an educational wiki, personalize it, and get started in your classroom. We’ll also have an open chat and the opportunity for you to ask questions or share tips with us or other educators.

If you haven’t used Elluminate before, make sure your system is configured correctly by going to their support page.

Looking forward to seeing you tonight.

I am just learning wiki, when I edit a page I cannot change the text size even when I go to the special font and color aspects (which I can change) why is this?

    Eddy,

Try going to http://www.wikispaces.com and then to the Support link at the bottom of the page. Fill out the form and send it to us. This will help us see if this problem is specific to your computer or network settings.

    Best,
    Sarah

Any chance that a link to the Elluminate recording of this webinar could be posted, for the benefit of those of us who couldn’t participate?

    Hi Danny,

Unfortunately, there is no recording of this event. However, we do have recordings available for other webinars at http://tangient.wpengine.com/2008/11/november-education-webinar-this-thursday.html or http://tangient.wpengine.com/2008/10/join-us-for-tonights-education-webinar.html .

We also plan to have future webinars and will record those. Keep an eye on our blog for announcements about these events.

    Best,
    Sarah

    Hi Gail,

The webinar was held in December. However, keep an eye on our blog for information about our upcoming one.

Are you trying to upload a video directly from your computer? To do so, go to your wiki, edit a page, go to the tree icon in the toolbar and then upload the video to your wiki. You can find more on how to add files to your computer by going to http://www.wikispaces.com/site/tour#files .

If you need more assistance, send us an e-mail at help@wikispaces.com and we’ll get you up and running.

    Best,
    Sarah
