I really appreciated that comment about locking the pages-I have the same worry. I know that I could go into history to see the revisions, but I’d rather not have to do that!

Katrin,

You can request an upgrade to our K-12 plan by going to your wiki, “Manage Wiki,” and then “Subscription.” The link to upgrade is at the bottom of that page.

You can lock pages of your wiki by going to “Manage Wiki,” and “Pages.” Only organizers of the wiki will be able to edit those pages.

Hi I would like to to upgrade my site to the teachers/educators version, but when I type in the name of the site, it says that I need to create a new site. But I would like to keep this one , but get a PLUS upgrade for teachers. Please advise. Thanks.

I also would like to know how I can protect only certain pages, but leave my home page open for comments. I am afraid that my students will take files out by accident and it was sooooooo much work to create this site.

First of all, thanks for running a great service and I really do enjoy reading your periodic updates. Good to see all the new features coming out. There’re however a couple of admin options that I’ve long been waiting for and hope to see soon –

– the ability to see the email IDs of all members on my wiki. Please note that we run a private space where membership is by invitation only, so some of the rules/practices around privacy don’t really apply to us. Everybody on the wiki is part of our company and nobody really expects to be anonymous

– the ability to batch-process certain admin tasks. We, for instance, are currently in the process of cleaning up the membership on our wiki site and want to encourage everybody to use their official mail IDs when they sign up for the wiki. This is easy to do with new members but how can I identify the people on the site that didn’t sign-up with the company’s mail ID? This is an important risk management issue for us

This is a step in the right direction, but what I really would like is to be able assign permissions by PAGE. Some pages could be made public while others could be reserved as private, for registered members only. (This suggestion appears on the list of requested features.)
