wikispaces

Daniel Terdiman has posted a great article about our renewed commitment to wikis in education over on CNET.

It’s a great world when you can build a fast growing business by doing good for people.

[Frey] said that Wikispaces has spent almost nothing on marketing since its launch, but that its investment in supporting the educators in its free wikis program has more than paid off in new paying business.

You must made a good article if you put it on CNET. Sharing the wikis to teachers from different countries is a good idea.

Like so many of you, I am thrilled to hear that teachers have some special considerations with wikispaces. The upgrade will help all of us to make good use of wikispaces for the classroom because we can be assured that security is there for our students and us. Thank you, wikispaces leaders, for the PLUS membership you are offering educators. Love it!!

I’m having trouble locating good education wikis. Is there a way to find and connect with other educational wikis?

I was absolutely stoked to allow my students to access a free wiki. And then to be able to upgrade to the PLUS plan with no adds, well this has made the students wiki experience safer and even more enjoyable. I love it and so do the students. THANKS!

    Shoshana,

Take a look at http://educationalwikis.wikispaces.com . It’s a valuable educational resource where you can see how other educators have used Wikispaces in their classrooms. If you have specific questions, you can always send us an e-mail at help@wikispaces.com and we’ll be happy to help you.

    Best,
    Sarah
