Wikispaces is Attending NECC 2008
June 23rd, 2008 by Sarah

NECC 2008, the 29th Annual National Educational Computing Conference, is coming up on June 29-July 2 in San Antonio.
Vicki Davis, of the Flat Classroom Wiki Project, and Adam Frey of Wikispaces will be presenting on how wikis can be used in education. The talk will be geared to all levels, starting out with wiki basics and moving to more advanced features available on Wikispaces. You will see many examples of how wikis have been effectively used for a variety of classroom activities.
If you are at the conference, drop by our session to say hi, meet some of the Wikispaces team face-to-face, and learn some new things about using wikis in the classroom. And if you happen to come in early, drop by the EduBloggerCon & Classroom 2.0 “LIVE in San Antonio” event. I’ll be attending and look forward to meeting some of you.

Hi Adam,
Hope to meet you. Created this wiki for our BoF session (see the tab on our page) on Tuesday afternoon at 4:45. We’ll also be using the ArtsEducator20 wiki as part of a grant we applied for to the Department of Education. Cross your fingers - we hope to hear about our grant funding on Monday!
Fondly,
Mara
PS - thanks for creating such an amazing tool for educators!
Thanks for modeling and using so many 21st century learning tools to inspire best practices in education so that we “make a difference” in the lives of children.
Great! I hope to meet ya’ll during this fabulous experience. I’m giving a session on my experiences after a year. My students have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks!
I was introduced to wiki space in a workshop by Annette and Larry Lamb. They wer e excellent.
