Simple Services, Straightforward Pricing
June 3rd, 2008 by James
One of our primary goals here at Wikispaces is to make the services we offer easy to understand and adopt. We can’t do that without making the prices of our services simple and transparent. We tell you exactly what our plans cost on our pricing page, linked from the front page of Wikispaces.com and from the footer across the site. We price our services on a flat monthly or yearly basis and don’t charge you per user — you can have as many users as you want on any of our plans.
You don’t have to log in or create a wiki to see what an upgrade costs. You don’t have to give your name, address, or phone number to a salesperson. No asterisks or fine print to be found. In about the time it takes to read this sentence, you can try any of our services for yourself: all of our plans are free for 30 days, with no credit card or personal information required to get started. Not to mention our full-featured, free Basic plan!
Transparent pricing and the ability to use any of our services for 30 days is about giving you the information you need to make an informed decision. In short, we treat you the way we would want to be treated as customers. We think it’s good business sense too: instead of choosing ways to optimize profits in the short term, we’d rather make your experience as positive as possible and optimize for the long term.
