wikispaces

fireworks.jpgEarly last week, we hit a big milestone at Wikispaces: 1 million registered users. We now have 1,028,902 members and 433,863 wikis created on our platform! We’re also seeing fast growth in traffic and activity across the site, with millions of unique visitors coming every month to view and create content.

Needless to say, we’re incredibly excited about both the growth of the community and the amazing variety of ways our members have used their wikis. We’re also growing as a company, actively hiring engineers, designers, and support staff to make sure Wikispaces is a service you’ll fall in love with (if you haven’t already).

So to our community – thanks! And as always, let us know how we’re doing. We’re just an email away at help@wikispaces.com.

Congratulations to all of you… and I’m doing my best to spread the word and get new members! We absolutely love our Wikispaces and what we can do with them!

We’ve recently added a Scrapblog to ours in my Teen Leadership class to give students a new way of presenting their research in a dynamic way. Come check them out! They’re on my front page under Student Spaces… especially “melmel’s”.

    Congratulations!
This site is awesome for teachers, professors and students to come together & evaluate important matters and learn from them.

I’m a student @ William Paterson & the reason I joined this is because I have a awesome professor that uses this and expresses many ideas that should be talked about and solutions to those that see problems.

One of the spaces she made here that I’m sure will be good is “ChalktoClick” which is a survey that combines the views of Professors and Students on of technology in the classroom. The negatives and the positives of it. It’s a work in a progress…

Check out my e-portfolio project & tell me what you think.
