Site Upgrade: 9 PM PDT Friday, 21 September
September 19th, 2007 by James
This Friday, September 21st at 9 PM PDT (that’s 4 AM GMT Saturday morning) we’ll be doing a site upgrade. We expect to have this done within 60 minutes, during which time Wikispaces will be offline.
As always, we keep track of maintenance happenings and problems with the service at an off-site status page:
http://status.wikispaces.com/
It’s a good place to check if you ever have trouble getting to Wikispaces. There’s also an RSS feed if you’d like to keep up with changes as they happen.

Is this why I can not see my tags when ’saved’?
Would it be possible to move the floating toolbar over a little to the left?
For those of us with smaller laptops the ’save’ button is off the screen!
I’m loving the free web site for my classroom. And have helped many others find you. You are the best!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bolton
Ken, if you’re using a custom theme get in touch and we’ll let you know what needs to be done.
Thanks Mrs. Bolton. We’ll have a look at moving the toolbar to the left.
This is a great way to communicate. Thanks for moving the toolbar - it is difficult to see some of the options.
The Smithsonian wikki is quite extensive with lots of great resources. Loved the Flat Planet project. What a great way to connect globally.
I have been successfully inserting mp3’s of students reading their poetry. Now I can still upload the file, but it will not insert into the page. Can you fix this?
I cannot edit my navigation bar anymore — everytime I try it gives me an “abort operations box” HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a known problem we’re occasionally having with Internet Explorer at the moment. Drop us an email at help@wikispaces.com and we’ll update you when it’s fixed.
Mary,
Point us to an example of a file you’re having trouble with at help@wikispaces.com and we’ll see what’s going on.
