Yesterday, we looked at the new page action menu. Today, we’ll look at member profile pages.

This is a feature we’ve gotten a huge number of requests for - a way for our members to say a bit about themselves outside of the context of a single wiki. Profile pages do just this, giving every member on the site a wiki page about themselves. This page is what other members will see when they click on your username anywhere on the site - in page histories, discussions, and private messages. Of course, if you choose not to create a profile page, we leave things the way they were and only show your picture and a brief snapshot of your public activity on Wikispaces.

Wikispaces Member Profile

You can view and edit your own profile by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the page when you’re logged in to Wikispaces. Don’t worry - this page can only be edited by you.

Tomorrow, on to our new text editor toolbar!

Hi everyone - I think its a great idea for a profile oportunity.
Barbara Hill 8th child of 13 children PHD London, (not expected to be this educated given the statistical guidelines of large families) I am now working on a Masters in Learning Innovation - QUT Kelvin Grove Brisbane. My main focus is to become a Guidance Officer to assess kids with learning Difficulties. I am pleased to be part of the QLD Online Managers in e learning group. My intention is to take learning for these kids to a new stage of development into the classrooms, taking advantage of all this amazing technology. My challenge is to build in some success factors to achieve this goal.
There are still some challenges for me to achieve this.
I am looking forward to the text editor toolbar!
