Clarity and brevity are valued here.

If you think you might be interested, see the full job description and get in touch. It’s a great time to be working at Wikispaces and we look forward to hearing from you.

I am *very* interested in your customer support position. My background is a mix of equipment engineering, customer service, field service, and my last tech position including a lot of documenting and technical writing.

Currently I run a small NGO which has been in existance for 9 years and am trying to do only a smaller part time positon in the tech world and this sounds perfect. I would however need to work virtually since I am living in Colorado and sometimes Nicaragua. I do have access to phones, reliable internet and of course a computer.

I am really looking forward to hearing from you!

    Sincerely,

    Kathy Adams

I would also be very interested in your customer support position. I took a National Diploma in IT at college, and have had extensive experience in dealing with both young and older people who are new to computers and the internet.

I’m also a long time wikispaces user (Mikebloke- I run Antibafflegab) so I know my way around it and how to take advantage of extra features that are available to the paid/free educational spaces. I also browse the changes/bugs/feature request pages as well as the public message boards regular and pop in a post now and then.

Like Kathy above though, I would only be able to work virtually, as I’m a lot further away in the United Kingdom.

My English is great, although I am British so I would tend to prefer UK spellings although if that is a problem then I could quite easily switch to American English. I’m also very good at following through with people to help sort out their problems.

    Greetings Wikispaces Team,

It’s great to see you growing — I’m very excited about all that is emerging in the world of wikis.

I consult to businesses in the areas of CRM and Customer Service, and have done work with a cadre of small to Fortune 500 companies — often around helping them plan and execute customer service strategies.

It is probably a bit early in your growth cycle to engage my services, but I’d be glad to spend a bit of time with you exploring ways to strategicly manage growth in this area. Plus, I’m interested in applying wikis to some of my client’s business challenges, and I think it would be fun to meet.

    …and I’m in San Francisco.
